PORT ORANGE MSA OVERVIEW
The Pavilion at Port Orange is situated within the Deltona – Daytona Beach – Ormond Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area (the “Daytona Beach MSA”), which is comprised of two counties, Volusia and Flagler. The Daytona Beach MSA is situated northeast of Orlando and south of Jacksonville, and the principal cities are Daytona Beach (immediately north of Port Orange), Port Orange, Palm Coast, Deltona (19 miles southwest of the Property) and Ormond Beach. The Daytona Beach MSA is bordered to the east by the Atlantic Ocean.
With 47 miles of Atlantic Ocean beaches, the Daytona Beach MSA is well known for its vibrant tourism industry. Millions of visitors ock to the MSA each year for its beaches and motorsports events. The area is home to the Daytona International Speedway (located only ve miles from Pavilion at Port Orange). Daytona International Speedway serves as the venue of several races, including the famous Daytona 500, which draws more people than the Super Bowl. Daytona International Speed- way recently underwent a $400 million renovation and serves as the headquarters for NASCAR. The MSA is also home to the Daytona Beach Bike Week, a massive biker rally that occurs in March, as well as several classic car shows and other cultural events.
